Industrial Alliance clients across Canada to benefit from TELUS Health electronic claim submissions

With TELUS Health's leading eClaims web portal, Industrial Alliance continues tradition of providing best-in-class services to its clients

QUEBEC CITY, March 19, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. announced today an agreement with TELUS Health to offer its group insurance plan members a simple point-of-sale electronic claim submission service. Scheduled to officially launch in Fall 2013, healthcare providers including physiotherapists, chiropractors and vision care providers across Canada as well as acupuncturists, massage therapists and naturopathic doctors in certain provinces will have the ability to use TELUS Health's eClaims web portal service to submit claims to Industrial Alliance on behalf of patients directly from their offices.

In an ongoing effort to provide superior service to its clients, Industrial Alliance is deploying the online eClaims service to reduce claims processing time and costs. To further increase efficiency, claim reimbursement from Industrial Alliance can be made to plan members or healthcare providers via electronic funds transfer.
