Independent Trading Group Launches New Agency Desk

New Offering Propels ITG's Growth and Expands Team of Trading Experts 

TORONTO, June 17, 2020 /CNW/ - Independent Trading Group (ITG), Canada's only brokerage firm dedicated specifically to professional trading, is excited to announce the launch of their brand-new agency desk, which will offer high quality execution services to domestic and international institutional clients.. 

The agency offering will focus on providing high quality execution and customer service, coupled with best-in-class trading technology.

Clients will have access to three highly qualified and experienced Bay Street traders with in-depth institutional and trading backgrounds.

Michael MacMenamin specializes in identifying and executing trading opportunities in the equities market and brings over 17 years of experience in capital markets to the team.

Meiwen Gouadec brings deep knowledge of the capital markets, with close to 20 years of institutional trading experience from small boutiques to major financial institutions, along with strong relationships across multiple top tier institutional accounts.

David Sears brings over 30 years of trading experience that commenced on the TSE trading floor in 1986. Most recently, Mr. Sears' focus has been on Market Making, which he will continue to focus on at ITG.

These new additions to the firm will be joining Jeff Gamble, Derrick Reimer and David Kemp as part of ITG's growing team of experienced institutional sales and trading personnel.
