VANCOUVER, Nov. 25, 2016 /CNW/ - A hearing has been scheduled before a Hearing Panel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) to consider whether the panel should accept a Settlement Agreement entered into between IIROC staff and Denis Denischuk.
The Agreement concerns conduct involving the failure to fully and properly supervise the activities of a Registered Representative, Alberto "Bob" Tassone, contrary to Dealer Member Rule 38.4. The conduct occurred while Mr. Denischuk was at the Delta offices of Global Securities from November 2003 to September 2004 and Raymond James from September 2004 to February 2013.
The hearing is not open to the public, but will become open in the event that the panel accepts the agreement. If the agreement is accepted, the Panel's decision and the Settlement Agreement will be made available at www.iiroc.ca.

IIROC formally initiated the investigation into Mr. Denischuk's conduct in March 2015. The conduct occurred while he was a Registered Representative and Supervisor at the Delta branch office of Global Securities from November 2003 to September 2004 and at the Delta branch office of Raymond James from September 2004 to February 2013, both IIROC-regulated firms. Mr. Denischuk is still a Registered Representative at the Delta branch of Raymond James Ltd, as Branch Manager.
