IMS Brogan Recognizes Quebec Health Professionals for Their Contribution to the Appropriate Use of Medicines Français
Quebec's leading health professionals gather to honour 2014 recipients of the 16th IMS Brogan Awards
MONTREAL, April 29, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - IMS Brogan is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2014 IMS Brogan Awards, recognized at a ceremony in Montreal last night. Now in their 15th year, the awards recognize Quebec physicians and pharmacists for their contribution to the continuing education of their peers. The award recipients were recognized for their published works on the appropriate use of medications. In addition, scholarships were presented to medical students with the highest academic standing in pharmacology and to the top pharmacy students from each of the faculties of pharmacy in Quebec. A total of $30,000 was shared by the recipients of the IMS Brogan Awards.
The Selection Committee was comprised of members of the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec (FMSQ), the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ), the Association québécoise des pharmacies propriétaires (AQPP) as well as members of the faculties of pharmacy and medicine from the Quebec universities. Representatives from each professional association on the Selection Committee as well as representatives from the Collège des médecins du Québec, the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec and the universities were on hand for the awards ceremony at the Mont Royal Club in Montreal.
