LONDON, Dec. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - ICIS is pleased to announce a range of improvements to its EU ETS Portal which is re-launched today (11 December). The newly enhanced portal provides comprehensive data on developments and price movements in the carbon market based on market fundamentals and behavioural patterns.
Over the last year, the EU ETS Portal has undergone significant development to enhance coverage and usability and to incorporate new features. It now includes regular news updates provided by ICIS carbon market journalists as well as a useful new tagging system for news and analysis items to make it easy to cluster information by keywords. To better aid users with their long-term planning, forecasts have been extended from 2020 until 2030. The Behaviour Database also now includes additional information on companies; Non-EU Markets coverage has been expanded to include additional schemes and market design data.
To help users access the relevant information even more quickly, portal navigation has been re-organised and extended model explanations now makes it easy to understand the various models and methodologies at a glance. A glossary has also been added.
ICIS' EU ETS Portal is a web-based data solution that analyses the latest developments and price movements in carbon markets to support decision-makers involved in carbon trading. The portal contains short, medium and long-term price forecasts for EUAs based on a unique and highly predictive model which combines carbon market fundamentals and behavioural patterns of major market players.
