Hyundai launches first "Before Service Experience"

First of three events in southern Ontario to offer consumers free vehicle inspections, car care tips for summer travel

MARKHAM, ON, June 22, 2015 /CNW/ - Hyundai has organized a new Before Service Experience, providing customers the opportunity to have their vehicle inspected by a professional and experience some of the latest Hyundai vehicles. The Hyundai Before Service Experience launches at the Taste of Asia Festival this weekend just north of Toronto and will continue at select venues in Ontario this summer.

Trained Hyundai technicians will provide free vehicle inspections, regardless of make. These multi-point inspections will include fluid checks, light bulb checks, battery checks, and tire pressure adjustments. Owners will have the opportunity to ask technicians about their vehicle or maintenance. Further, Hyundai will be educating shoppers on new vehicle technologies they may not be familiar with – including Adaptive Cruise Control, Bluetooth, and Blind Spot Detection – as well as see some of the company's newest models on display.

"The Before Service Tour brings attention to the importance of vehicle care and preventative maintenance. It reminds owners to take care of any issues that may have occurred or been ignored during winter," says Annie Deslauriers, Director, Customer Services, Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. "Some preparation now will help ensure summer driving plans go as smoothly as possible."

Running June 27-28, the Taste of Asia Festival will host the company's first Before Service Experience. Based on the results of this weekend's event, the company will look at hosting two more Before Service Experience events this summer before deciding if it should be expanded nationally in the future.
