Hyduke announces acquistion of Thunder & Lightning Welding Ltd.
NISKU, AB, Dec. 1, 2014 /CNW/ - Hyduke Energy Services Inc. (HYD - TSX), has completed the acquisition of all the issued and outstanding shares of Thunder & Lightning Welding Ltd, a significant competitor situated in Nisku, Alberta. The transaction was funded with cash.
This acquisition helps Hyduke increase its market share in the domestic market through the addition of assets, manufacturing capacity and more importantly, key personnel with an extensive knowledge of oilfield equipment design, fabrication and marketing. It reinforces Hyduke's commitment to grow and develop its Canadian drilling and service rig manufacturing and support equipment assembly operations.
Hyduke is especially pleased to announce that Thunder and Lightning's Founder and President, Mr. Josh Slager will be joining Hyduke's management team.
