LONDON, Jan. 13, 2016 /CNW/ -- Hycroft LLP, a speciality investment bank focused exclusively on the alternative investments market, is pleased to announce that Christopher Cooke is joining the firm as a Managing Director to lead the firm's international expansion.
Chris will head Hycroft's London office and oversee the firm's activities in Europe, Middle East, and Asia. He brings to Hycroft unique alternative asset expertise, having operated as a senior banker advising many of the largest international limited and general partners for over two decades. Chris has depth of experience in sourcing and diligencing fund investments, co-investments and direct investments, and also in complex fund and general partner restructurings.
At Hycroft, Chris will lead the firm's international limited partner advisory practice, have a prominent role in the distribution of primary and secondary offerings while supporting Hycroft's general partner clients in their financing and restructuring needs.

Prior to joining Hycroft, Chris was a Managing Director at HSBC Bank in London, where he worked with large pension plan offices, sovereign wealth funds and fund of funds on a number of different North American, Asian and European fundraisings. Previously, he served as a Managing Director at Greenhill London in the same capacity. Prior to Greenhill, he was a Managing Director of the London offices of Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs.
