HUMBOLDT CAPITAL CORPORATION INCREASES INTEREST IN SHARON ENERGY LTD.

CALGARY, Oct. 14 /CNW/ - Humboldt Capital Corporation (TSX-V:  HMB) advises that from December 7, 2007 to October 13, 2010 it has acquired an additional 1,588,000 common shares of Sharon Energy Ltd. (TSX-V:  SHY) on the facility of the TSX Venture Exchange.  As a result, Humboldt together with its major shareholder, Robert W. Lamond, own and control an aggregate of 20,578,167 common shares or 27.8% of the outstanding shares of Sharon.  Humboldt may be considered to be acting jointly or in concert with Mr. Lamond under applicable securities laws.
