(the "Company" or "HRT") (BM&FBOVESPA: HRTP3, TSX-V: HRP) today announced that on April 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the head offices of HRT Participações em Petróleo S.A. located in the city and state of Rio de Janeiro at Avenida Atlântica, nº 1.130, with supplementary entrance at Avenida Princesa Isabel, 10º andar (parte), Copacabana, CEP 22021-000, it was determined that the minimum quorum legally required to convene the Special Shareholders' Meeting in connection to the items (e) and (g) to (p) of the Announcement of Convocation related to the By_laws amendment, in accordance with Article 135 of Federal Law 6,404 of Dec. 15, 1976 ("Law of Corporations"), was not obtained.
Therefore, in accordance with Article 124 of the Law of Corporations, the meeting will be held on second call on May 11, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., and the respective second call announcement of convocation will be published in the Brazilian newspapers Diário Oficial do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and Brasil Econômico on May 03, 04 and 05, 2012.
