How to be the best neighbourhood pool party host

While hosting is enjoyable, it can also be quite exhausting, so plan ahead to prevent yourself from running around and stressing last minute. Organizing in advance will ensure that you have a great time outside while still keeping your guests happy.

There are some things you can never have too many of. Extra towels and pieces of clothing for kids who may lose something is great to keep around the house in case.

Additional sunscreen and pool toys will always come in handy down at the water. To ensure the comfort and safety of your guests, keep a bin of products they may need nearby. Suggest extra fun activities
Aside from the classic pool toys, a great host will help add to the pool party fun with suggestions of other activities. Throughout the day, keep the kids busy with a scavenger hunt or additional backyard games such as soccer or basketball. Other "on land" games can be planned for everyone to get involved in – including the parents. A fun idea could be having a battle between the kids and parents as a break from the pool.
