/CNW/ - A hostage-taking incident at WCB-Alberta's Central building has ended peacefully with all eight hostages being released without harm.
Edmonton
Police Services spent almost nine hours in negotiations with the gunman, believed to be a WCB claimant. The name of the gunman cannot be released pending further police investigation.
"A lot of people worked hard to achieve a peaceful resolution to the situation and we are very relieved to report that all of the hostages are safe and sound," said President and CEO
