The room capabilities are to eventually grow and spread its capabilities across Holman with the intention to become "Smart Holman". These smart features are seamless and make experiences immersive, interactive and easy to manage. Some of the technologies that Neville and his team have developed to tie in with numerous projects are:
- Interactive Media
- Audio & Video Solutions
- Media Duplication & Distribution
- Technical Assistance Centre (TAC)
- K PLAY- Holman's Media Player
- Virtual Reality
- Augmented Reality
- Application development
- Proximity and motion sensors
With much excitement, Holman recently acquired a grand LED Wall, to showcase large content with high resolution and faster processing of the image. The LED Wall displays content with superior brightness, provides dynamic and visually stimulating displays with various shapes and graphics.
Built from a tiled array of displays, which means it can have a large display area and high resolution than a single display or projector. It is also more scalable than projectors as well, which means it can be expanded without damaging the image quality. This device can leverage more power in its hardware system than any other of the built in processors. This processing ability can enable the video wall to deliver fluid visual displays and performance with high resolutions.
The LED wall has virtual capabilities in the sense that it can capture signals in different resolutions and formats in a wide range of devices such as cameras, computers, cable boxes and many more! All these devices can be accessed on a single platform and be displayed together on the video wall. A projector on the other hand would not be able to connect with multiple arrays of devices.
