Festive evening raises over $260,000 net for Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation
MONTREAL, Nov. 23, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Some 2500 lucky participants celebrated last night at the third annual Ogilvy en fête event. With the Holiday Season soon approaching, this unique gathering, famed for its splendid setting and warm festive atmosphere, brought guests in by the hundreds to support the cause of sick children. This year's event succeeded in raising over $260,000 net for the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation.
"What a marvellous occasion for Ogilvy to opens its doors to let our party guests save time and money on their Christmas shopping and at the same time contribute to a cause we especially cherish," said Bernard Paré, president of La Maison Ogilvy.
"There are lots of different ways to support the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation," said president and CEO Ainièle Lecoq. "We're honoured to have Ogilvy lend its legendary elegance to help us in our efforts. It's such a beautiful way to contribute and help provide a healthy future for our children and mothers-to-be. And the funds raised here are truly essential to our ongoing mission."
Joannie Rochette, Anne-Marie Cadieux, Geneviève Borne, Luck Merville and many other celebrities took to the runways as fashion models for the evening. Children also took a turn at the fashion footlights, with actress Marina Orsini as emcee.
The Ogilvy evening also featured gourmet delights and confections supplied by Buonanotte, Globe, Beatrice, Cavalli, M:brgr and a number of others. Guests were also delighted with dozens of exciting door prizes, plus a 15% discount on shopping purchases during the evening at participating Ogilvy boutiques.
