Annual one-day sale offers New York City as low as $67 a night, San Diego as low as $39 a night
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Nov. 9, 2015 /CNW/ -- Looking forward to getting up at 3 a.m. on Black Friday just so you can beat the crowds and save $5 on that new off-brand blender? We didn't think so. This year, forget the Black Friday madness and instead, focus your efforts on getting a deal the whole family will love: a great getaway from Howard Johnson® at an unprecedented 60 percent off.
Available exclusively on Orange Wednesday—December 2, the first Wednesday following Thanksgiving—travelers can book stays for 60 percent off at approximately 20 of Howard Johnson's best hotels across the U.S. and Canada, including the award-winning Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground in Anaheim, Calif., and the Howard Johnson Manhattan SOHO in New York City.
"The holiday travel season is just around the corner, which means that families everywhere are in full planning mode," said Meghan Swatt, director of brand marketing for Howard Johnson. "For those looking for the chance to save big—and we mean hundreds of dollars big—Orange Wednesday is the answer. Great hotels, top destinations and as always, a happy, healthy dose of fun—it's what HoJo is all about."
To book the Orange Wednesday rate, travelers should first visit www.hojo.com/orangewednesday, where they can view a complete list of participating hotels and make note of the phone number for the property they'd like to book. Then, between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. EST on December 2, they need only call the hotel directly and request a reservation under the Orange Wednesday rate.
Stays made using the Orange Wednesday rate must be completed by March 2, 2016.
