Ho-ho-holiday haul from Mercedes-Benz Toronto Retail Group helps kick-start the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive
TORONTO, Dec. 8, 2017 /CNW/ - Mercedes-Benz Toronto Retail Group delivers a ho-ho-holiday haul to kick-start the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive.
Toronto Fire Fighters unloaded cargo vans full of toys collected at Mercedes-Benz dealerships across the GTA at the official kick-off to the Fire Fighters Toy Drive at CF Shops at Don Mills. A fleet of Mercedes-Benz Vans delivered the toys to the official kick-off celebration.
"As an organization, we are very pleased to continue to support the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive," says Philipp von Witzendorff, Vice President and Head of Toronto Retail Operations. "Mercedes-Benz Toronto Retail Group employees are deeply invested in giving back to their communities. We have supported the Toy Drive for four years and it is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the public and to support a charitable organization that has made a difference in the lives of thousands of children and their families over the years."
Mercedes-Benz Toronto Retail Group has supported the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive since 2014. Santa's sleigh isn't built for Toronto traffic, so the Toronto Fire Fighters opt for Mercedes-Benz Vans (Santa's Sprinter and Merry Metris Vans, to be exact) - to deliver cheer across the GTA.
"We have been working in close partnership with the Mercedes-Benz Toronto Retail Group since 2014, and are grateful for the part they have played in allowing us to reach our goals," says Rick Berenz, President of the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive. "The versatility of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Metris vans has proved invaluable to the success of the yearly toy drive. Together, our organizations have made a tangible difference in the lives of deserving families across the GTA."
Mercedes-Benz Toronto Retail Group is a network of seven Mercedes-Benz dealerships across the GTA.
