Hisense began its first large-scale recruitment drive in 2011. Besides filling the talent gap via overseas recruitment, through the acquisition of entire tech teams and by attracting the top IT leaders to their organization, the company also offers innovative remuneration packages to attract and retain talent through equity incentives. As of the end of last year, Hisense had acquired the teams from Canadian Jamdeo, American Archcom optical chip's R&D and manufacturing team and Huaya TV chip's development team. Furthermore, nearly a hundred technology leaders from the USA, Japan and South Korea have joined Hisense's R&D team. All are well-known and respected world-class scientists and top talents at the top of their game in their respective sectors. Hisense's 146 key hires since 2011 have become the company's technology leaders in several diverse fields including laser television, chip design, artificial intelligence and system design. VIDAA TV, which was jointly designed and developed by the team from Canadian Jamdeo team and by Hisense's domestic team, is now selling well in China's domestic market and is expected to be available in North America at the beginning of next year.

Hisense's strategy for recruiting top of the line talent is adding strength to the core of Hisense's plan to become one's of the world's top three TV brands.
