TORONTO, Dec. 15, 2015 /CNW/ - Jessie's - The June Callwood Centre for Young Women (Jessie's) today announced that it will host a fundraising event, A Night to Nurture, on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. The night begins with an elegant cocktail reception, where you can mingle, network, and enjoy delicious appetizers and drinks. There will be special entertainment and a silent auction for you to browse and bid. We will then be screening of the renowned Canadian documentary, Milk, by Noemi Weiss, a documentary surrounding the commercialization and controversies around breast feeding. After the film there will be a panel discussion, and coffee and sweets available.

Jessie's has been providing supports, programs and services for pregnant teenagers and young mother's ages 12-20 since 1982. Each year, we work with 1,100 pregnant teenagers, new moms, and their children. We are focused on helping pregnant and young mothers with prenatal health care, counselling, parenting, housing supports, parent relief, and offer an on-site high school so young girls can complete and graduate high school.
