Helena's Dream

MONTRÉAL, March 13, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Helena's Dream, the short animated film by Canadian filmmaker Héloïse Magny, tells the story of a little girl who uses her imagination and the power of her mind in her fight against cancer. The film was screened in Los Angeles last October at the LA Femme International Film Festival.

Inspired by Buddhist spirituality, the film presents the touching story of Helena, who meets her favourite cartoon characters in her dreams. The director aims to show how imagination and hope can help people cope with the difficulties in their lives.

Helena's Dream was produced in Montreal by Digital Griffix, a recently established visual effects and animated film production studio, in collaboration with the Gundolina Art Studio, based in San Francisco.

We have teamed up with Opération Enfant Soleil in a fundraising effort, and anyone wishing to see the film (presented in English and French) or to make a donation via PayPal, can access the Digital Griffix website, at www.digitalgriffix.com.
