TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2026 /CNW/ -- Harvey today announced that Teachers' Venture Growth (TVG), the late-stage venture and growth investment platform of Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers'), has completed a US$50 million investment in the company. The investment is an extension of the recent round co-led by Diffusion and Lightspeed Venture Partners, and brings the total amount raised to US$600 million.

The investment comes as Harvey deepens its commitment to Canada. The company works with more than 100 Canadian law firms and legal teams, including Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, Dentons Canada, and Gowling WLG.
Harvey is also growing across the country. Customers announced today include full-service firms Blaney McMurtry, Cain Lamarre, Lavery, MLT Aikins, and Torkin Manes, boutique firms Epstein Cole and Lenczner Slaght, and in-house teams at AtkinsRéalis (tax), Dentalcorp, and RONA.
Harvey opened its Toronto office in 2025 and is the official legal AI partner of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Harvey's team in Canada now includes more than 30 employees across engineering, customer success, sales, and legal innovation. The company continues to grow with law firms, in-house teams, and boutique practices as interest in AI rises nationwide. To support those customers as they adopt AI, Harvey has hired Erin Kanygin as a Legal Innovation Partner. Erin joins from Stewart McKelvey in Halifax, where she advised the firm on strategy and innovation. She will work alongside Joe Marando, her Toronto-based counterpart and former Director of AI and Legal Technology at Fasken.
