OAKVILLE, ON, Jan. 3, 2019 /CNW/ - Harvest Portfolios Group Inc. ("Harvest") announces the following changes to the risk ratings of certain Harvest exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The risk rating for Harvest US Bank Leaders Income ETF (TSX: HUBL and HUBL.U) will increase from "medium to high" to "high".
The risk rating for Harvest European Leaders Income ETF (TSX: HEUR) will increase from "medium" to "medium to high".
The risk rating for Harvest Global Resource Leaders ETF (TSX: HRES) will increase from "medium to high" to "high".
No changes have been made to the investment objectives or strategies of these ETFs. A summary of the risk rating classification methodology and the investment objectives and strategies of the ETFs can be found in each ETF's most recently filed prospectus.
Harvest is also announcing that it will be terminating the Harvest European Leaders Income ETF (the "ETF") effective at the close of business on Thursday, March 21, 2019 (the "Termination Date"). Effective Friday, January 25, 2019, no further direct subscriptions for units of HEUR will be accepted. Thursday, March 21, 2019, is expected to be the last date on which a redemption may be placed with Harvest (Manager of the ETF), and the ETF is expected to be de-listed from the Toronto Stock Exchange, at the request of Harvest, at the close of business on or about Thursday, March 21, 2019 (the "Delisting Date"), with all units still held by investors being subject to a mandatory redemption as of the Termination Date.
Unitholders of the HEUR will be able to sell their units through the facilities of the stock exchange until the Delisting Date. Any remaining unitholders of the ETF as at the Termination Date will receive the net proceeds from the liquidation of the assets of the ETF, less all liabilities and all expenses incurred with the dissolution of the ETF, on a pro-rata basis.
