EDMONTON, April 8, 2015 /CNW/ - Earlier today at the One Life Experience in West Edmonton mall, students were treated to an inspirational basketball clinic by Harlem Globetrotter "Zeus" McClurkin. The kids practiced basketball skills and tricks, and learned how they can help children around the world. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, made possible through a partnership between The Harlem Globetrotters and World Vision. A clinic of this kind has never been done before in Canada. McClurkin is in Edmonton promoting the upcoming Harlem Globetrotters tour.
Quotes:
"I love getting out and inspiring kids about the amazing impact they will have on this world and help build their confidence. The basketball tricks and skills I'm teaching them today are fun, but I'm hoping they can see that they can use whatever skills and passions they have, to make a difference, like the Harlem Globetrotters have been doing for the last 89 years."
