BRAMPTON, ON, Oct. 3, 2012 /CNW/ - Harinder Takhar, MPP for Mississauga-Erindale and Minister of Government Services, along with Linda Jeffrey, MPP for Brampton-Springdale and Minister of Labour as well as Minister Responsible for Seniors, honoured the awardees for their exceptional contribution towards the community.
Ms. Grewal was nominated for the award by members of the GTA community who are exceptionally proud of her, and of the recognition the government has given to her on behalf of the Queen. I hope this award and its recipient's continue to inspire others to strive for excellence in their chosen field with an unwavering commitment to the growth and prosperity of our province and country. Each day of my life is filled with introspection, awe and soul searching. Time devoted to God and thanks for blessing us in so many ways. To ensure that we never lose the values that were part of our upbringing no matter what the circumstances in life are".
