Everything You Fear Awaits in the All-New Spirit Manor
VAUGHAN, ON, Sept. 30, 2015 /CNW/ - Canada's Wonderland opens its gates to the 11th annual Halloween Haunt this Friday, October 2, 2015. Halloween Haunt, Canada's biggest playground of terror, features over 500 monsters, 10 spine-chilling mazes, two scare zones, live shows and terrifying thrill rides in the dark.
Halloween Haunt opens the doors to an all-new maze this year, Spirit Manor. Beware the cursed mansion where troubled spirits torment innocent souls. Demons are lurking around every corner, searching for their next prey.
Zombies 4D returns to take on new challengers for 2015. This interactive dark ride, launched in 2014, brings you into the core of Wonder Mountain where zombies roam and are on the hunt for their next victim. Riders will have an opportunity to showcase their gaming skills as they compete against, and alongside, their fellow riders, in a bid to come out of this nightmare alive.
Adding to this year's terrifying line-up are three live shows, including Toxicity, a gathering of mutant acrobats showcasing their feats of drop-dead strength and athleticism inside Wonderland Theatre. Always amazing crowds of mortals; Skeleton Crew, is a dazzling display of fire breathers and a death defying trampoline performance; and, Mysterion the Mind Reader, the dramatic psychic power of this master mentalist reads the minds of the most unsuspecting.
If you're looking for another level of fear, Skeleton Key returns for 2015 with Fright Lane, getting you to the front of the line for all 10 mazes. Skeleton Key "unlocks" an exclusive secret extra room inside five Halloween Haunt mazes that guarantees to expose your greatest fears.
Halloween Haunt gates open Friday, October 2 and runs through until October 31 from 7:00 PM until midnight. Halloween Haunt is designed to scare and therefore not recommended for anyone under the age of 13. Most park rides and attractions will be in operation. Guests are not permitted to attend the event in costume. For more information on Halloween Haunt tickets and operating schedule, please log onto our Haunt website: www.canadaswonderland.com/haunt
