Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Partners with Laura Secord® to Create Hot Chocolate K-Cup® Packs for Keurig® Single Cup Brewers

MONTREAL, Feb. 27, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - GMCR Canada Holding Inc. (GMCR Canada), a subsidiary of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR) (NASDAQ: GMCR), a leader in specialty coffee and coffeemakers with its innovative Keurig® brewing technology, partners with Laura Secord®, Canada's largest and best-known chocolatier, to bring Laura Secord® signature hot chocolate to K-Cup® packs for the Keurig® brewing system in fall 2014.

With this partnership, the one-of-a-kind Laura Secord® experience will now be available like never before, through the convenience, quality, and reach of the Keurig® brewing system. The 5-year agreement includes the launch of a first variety of hot chocolate in fall 2014, which will be an intense and creamy hot chocolate variety, reminding consumers of the finesse and the expertise of the renowned chocolatier. The agreement also contains the launch of more varieties of Laura Secord® hot chocolate in fall 2015.
