IBC to announce Top 10 Stolen Vehicles list tomorrow
TORONTO, Dec. 10, 2018 /CNW/ - For more than a decade, Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) has published an annual list of Canada's most frequently stolen vehicles, which it compiled from data from its member companies.
This year, IBC is also providing information about auto theft trends and tips to help keep you from being victimized. In addition, it's offering key insights on the five Ws of auto theft:
What is being stolen
Where vehicles are being stolen
When vehicles are stolen
Why they're being stolen
Who is behind auto theft
IBC's new Vice-President of Investigative Services, Henry Tso, and its new National Director of Investigative Services, John Tod, will be available on December 11 for interviews and commentary. Both Tso and Tod have come to IBC after years of law enforcement service at the provincial and national levels.
