Golden Globe Nominee Alan Thicke Hosts Dancing Like The Pros at Fallsview Casino in July

NIAGARA FALLS, ON, April 8, 2013 /CNW/ - Dancing with the Stars fans and audiences alike will have their chance to crown a champion during a new interactive dance competition as part of Fallsview Casino's July entertainment.

Hosted by multi-talented Canadian Alan Thicke, "Dancing Like The Pros" showcases an all-star cast of acclaimed dancers that will battle on the dance floor in an intense live competition for judges' feedback and audience scores. Audience members will receive an electronic device to cast their vote as world-class dancers in glamorous costumes perform Latin, Ballroom and Contemporary choreography. Fox's American Idol competitor Joanna Pacitti will co-host and also perform several of her chart-topping hits.

Celebrated choreographer and Artistic Director Amit Shah, along with his award-winning performing arts troupe, presents a celebratory journey through ancient and modern India using a stunning visual display of custom-designed sets, vibrant costumes, professional dancers and the dynamic music of Bollywood cinema.

Time travel is also on tap for July when "Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone" take over the Avalon theatre for two nights. As well, audiences can embark on an adventure through the regions of Italy with "Sogno Italiano", presented by famous TV personality Fabrizio Frizzi.
