Gold Medal Alert: McKeever and Carleton win Canada's first gold medal at Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games Français
SOCHI, RUSSIA, March 10, 2014 /CNW/ - Para-Nordic skier Brian McKeever (Canmore, Alta.) and guide Erik Carleton (Canmore, Alta.) have won Canada's first gold medal at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games, in the men's 20km classic, visually-impaired race.
Carleton guided McKeever for the first half of the race and Graham Nishikawa (Whitehorse, Yukon) guided McKeever for the second half of the race.
