MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 1, 2026 /CNW/ -- goeasy Ltd. (TSX: GSY), ("goeasy" or the "Company"), one of Canada's leading consumer lenders focused on delivering a full suite of financial services to Canadians with non-prime credit scores, announced today that it has filed its Management Information Circular ("Circular") and related proxy materials for its upcoming Special Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting").

Meeting Details

Shareholders of record as at the close of business on September 14, 2026 ("Shareholders"), will be entitled to vote at the Meeting, details of which are as follows:

Date: Tuesday, November 3, 2026

Time: 1:00 p.m. (Toronto time)

Location: TSX Trust Virtual AGM 

At the Meeting, Shareholders will be asked to consider and vote on the ratification of the Shareholder Rights Plan previously approved by the Board of Directors on May 12, 2026.  The Board of Directors unanimously recommends that Shareholders vote "FOR" the resolution.

The Meeting will be held in a virtual-only format designed to provide full and equal access for all Shareholders, enabling them to attend, participate, ask questions and vote in real time, regardless of location.

How to Access Materials

The Company is again using "Notice and Access" to deliver the Circular and related meeting materials by providing Shareholders with notice of availability and access to the materials online under the Company's profile on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.ca, on its website at www.goeasy.com, and on a dedicated Meeting website at www.voteGSY.com.

Shareholders may request paper copies of the Meeting materials by mail at no cost. Requests should be made by October 23, 2026, to allow sufficient time for postal delivery.
