Mendes joins an all-star lineup of recently announced performers including 5 Seconds of Summer, Alessia Cara, Halsey, Kris Wu, Marshmello ft. Anne-Marie, and Meghan Trainor.
Toronto-born Mendes has achieved international success with his three, #1 studio albums, Handwritten (2015), Illuminate (2016), and Shawn Mendes (2018), which reached #1 on iTunes in over 80 countries worldwide upon its release this May.
