TORONTO, Sept. 23, 2015 /CNW/ - Global's powerhouse primetime lineup took over Tuesday night, as viewers used full capacity of their TV-watching, tuning in to the world's most-watched drama NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans, and the series premiere of Limitless. Beginning the night off strong at 8 pm, Global's NCIS became the #1 series of the night, as 2.2 million viewers (2+) tuned in to the season 13 premiere. The franchise kept going strong in the 9 pm timeslot as more than 1.6 million (2+) viewers tuned in to the NCIS: New Orleans season premiere. The action on Global continued at 10 pm as the highly anticipated new series Limitless prescribed all the fast-paced drama viewers craved, as 1.6 million viewers (2+) tuned in to the season premiere. Overall, Global reached an average of 3.3 million viewers between 8-11pm (2+), making it the #1 entertainment network of the night.   


  • Limitless wins the night in the coveted younger demos A18-34 and A18-49
  • Limitless wins its time period nationally and in key demos A18-49 and A25-54
  • Limitless surpassed the competition including CTV's Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris by 149% (2+) and the series premiere of City's Scream Queens by 537% (2+)
  • NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, and Limitless win respective timeslots, besting CTV by 121%, 40%, and 149% (2+)
  • NCIS premiere was up 13% (2+) and 20% (A18-49) compared to its spring finale

Premiere week continues on Global tonight with the special 90-minute season premiere of Survivor at 8 pm ET/PT, followed by the season finale of Big Brother at 9:30 pm ET/PT.
