Gestion FÉRIQUE receives two Lipper Awards recognizing the above-average returns of its FÉRIQUE EQUITY and FÉRIQUE BOND Funds

MONTREAL, Feb. 14, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - For the second year in a row, Gestion FÉRIQUE has stood out by winning a Lipper Award for the performance of its FÉRIQUE EQUITY Fund (best Canadian Equity Fund over 5 years), in addition to winning a second Lipper Award highlighting its FÉRIQUE BOND Fund's performance (best Canadian fixed income fund over 1-year).

Lipper Fund Awards recognize funds that deliver more consistent, above-average returns than their peers for a given period. Funds are ranked according to their risk-adjusted returns. The Award goes to the fund that has, in this respect, outperformed all other funds in the same class.

As at December 31, 2011, the management expense ratios for the FÉRIQUE EQUITY and BOND Funds were, respectively, 0.75% and 0.52%. The average for Canadian funds in the same category was 2.39% for Canadian equity funds and 1.54% for fixed income funds. Both Funds rely on a multi-manager approach that aims to offer investors maximum exposure to different sectors in the Canadian market and diverse management styles.
