Fusion Learning Inc. makes the list of Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2014
Top sales training firm celebrates its continued focus on corporate culture
TORONTO, Nov. 21, 2014 /CNW/ - Fusion Learning Inc., one of North America's top sales training firms, announced today that it is proud to be recognized as one of Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures for having a culture that has impacted its performance.
"Fusion Learning is proud of our team - we work hard to create a unique culture that results in exceptional employee loyalty and productivity", said Kevin Higgins, CEO, Fusion Learning Inc. "What's more - our training emphasizes the importance of a great corporate culture in driving results and this award reassures me that we are actively practicing what we preach".
2014 marks the 10th anniversary of the Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures program. The award was created by executive search firm Waterstone Human Capital to distinguish great workplaces where culture impacts performance. The winning organizations are selected by a panel of experts based on six measurement criteria, including: vision and leadership; recruitment and hiring for fit; cultural alignment and measurement; retention, rewards and recognition; organizational performance; and corporate social responsibility. Ten organizations are recognized as national winners in each of the following four categories for 2014:
- Enterprise (revenues above $500 million)
- Mid-Market (revenues over $100 million to $500 million)
- Growth & Small Cap (revenues under $100 million), and
- Broader Public sector
"In our work at Waterstone we partner with leaders of high-growth organizations across North America to help them unleash the power of their culture to drive performance and recruit for fit," said Marty Parker, chief executive officer of Waterstone Human Capital and Chair of Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures. "The winning organizations represent everything from large global retailers, construction companies, growing technology agencies, to well-known organizations in the public sector, and what is so impressive about them is that they share the belief that their culture is their competitive advantage. Each of them understands that building and sustaining a great corporate culture results in great performance."
