Fujitsu Microelectronics to Demonstrate the Interoperability of MB86C30 USB

MB86C30 Earns USB-IF Compliance Certification for SuperSpeed USB and Named a Product of the Year by Electronic Products Magazine </pre> <p><location>SUNNYVALE</location>, Calif., <chron>Jan. 6</chron> /CNW/ -- Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc. (FMA) will demonstrate the interoperability of its USB 3.0-SATA Bridge IC for PC peripherals at the USB TechZone #30769 during CES <location>Las Vegas</location> 2010, January 7-10.</p> <p/> <p>Fujitsu will feature its MB86C30 USB 3.0-SATA Bridge IC embedded in multiple hard disk drives (HDDs), and showcase the high-speed functionality of USB 3.0 technology. USB 3.0 will be available in various consumer products in 2010. "The Fujitsu device has been designed to be versatile and flexible, to accommodate the requirements of a broad variety of systems. Our exhibit will demonstrate those capabilities."</p> <p/> <p>The Fujitsu USB 3.0-SATA IC integrates SATA, USB links, PHYs, a high-performance 32-bit RISC processor, a hardwired encryption block, SRAM, and common interfaces to communicate and respond to requests from the USB host.
