Domino's expects to sell more than 500,000 pizza slices, 100,000 chicken wings this Sunday
WINDSOR, ON, Jan. 29, 2014 /CNW/ - It isn't just football players preparing for the big football game next week, but pizza makers and delivery drivers too. Domino's Pizza stores are counting down to kickoff and ready to take on one of its busiest days of the year.
As the Denver and Seattle football teams get ready for their biggest Sunday of the season, Domino's anticipates delivering over 500,000 pizza slices and 100,000 chicken wings nationwide on game day - over a 30 percent overall increase from a typical Sunday.
"Every night in a Domino's store is a practice for the biggest Sunday in football," said Michael Curran, President of Domino's Pizza of Canada. "Our team is certainly ready to tackle the big rush coming up this week. We're pumped up for the opportunity to deliver a great game day meal to hundreds of thousands of football fans."
