Friends of Sinn Fein Celebrate Centenary of 1916 Easter Uprising in Toronto St. Patrick's Day Parade

Danny Morrison, veteran Irish Republican and former Sinn Fein Publicity Director, to march with activists

TORONTO, March 12, 2016 /CNW/ - Friends of Sinn Fein (Canada) will March in Toronto's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 13, 2016. The group will celebrate the Centenary of the 1916 Easter Uprising with marchers dressed in historic Irish republican uniforms from the period.

The FOSF contingent shall be led by Danny Morrison, veteran republican, Sinn Fein's former Director of Publicity and spokesperson for Bobby Sands in his 1981 Hunger Strike.
