TORONTO, July 12, 2012 /CNW/ - Canadian singer-songwriter Frank D'Angelo, whose musical successes are well known throughout Canada, is continuing to make his mark in the U.S. - and not just with one tune either! Two songs that D'Angelo penned, 'You're The One' and the recently released, 'Flying High' are each on the FMQB Adult Contemporary AC-40 Chart this week at 39 and 33 respectively! "It's wonderful to see the fans embrace these songs," says Frank D'Angelo. "I very much appreciate that my fans in the U.S. and Canada have taken these songs into their hearts… it's both humbling and inspiring to me as an artist."
The highly respected FMQB, in its 44th year of publication, is a music industry standard. D'Angelo's two chart singles are both from his 4th album 'Winds of Time', released through Blue Sapphire Music/DEP/Universal.
Written by Frank D'Angelo, 'Flying High' is a soulful R&B melody highlighted by a commanding vocal eloquently backed by his smokin' hot 15 piece band. Offering inspiration and encouragement for everything that occurs in life - in good times and bad - it has proved to resonate with the adult contemporary audience. Frank's other hit single 'You're The One', a song about making relationships work, has been on the U.S. charts for over 14 weeks and debuted as the most added single in its first week. Both songs are available for purchase from iTunes.
Frank D'Angelo's skills as a musician and a showman are also available online on the YouTube channel www.youtube.com/user/frankdangelomusic. With almost 4 million hits, YouTube fans can see and hear the best of Frank on stage and in studio. In addition to his musical talents, Frank D'Angelo is a modern renaissance man who excels at many things. Al Pacino, Graham Greene, Murray McLauchlan, Tony Bennett, Ian Thomas, Bill Fichtner, Kevin Hearn of The Barenaked Ladies, Kim Coates, Estella Warren, Bai Ling, Snow, Pavlo and many more have all been guests on the show.
Look for Frank D'Angelo as he continues to tour throughout the summer and his music continues to climb the charts.
