"The holidays are about coming together, warmth, shelter, and a good meal. And it bothers me when I see people on our streets in the cold, in a country like Canada, especially during the holiday season, so I decided it's time I do something about it", states D'Angelo. Now he's taking it upon himself to help by singing for the homeless cause with a new version of "Silent Night". The song, a remake of an old favourite sung like only D'Angelo can in his signature R&B style will be available immediately online at www.frankdangelo.ca and on iTunes with all net proceeds being donated to various charities that support the homeless. The CD is also being incorporated into a holiday greeting card so anybody who purchases it can have it as a keepsake or use it to send to others as a holiday greeting card. D'Angelo continues, "My goal is to try and give every homeless person a hot meal and shelter this holiday season so we're going to start an awareness campaign and hopefully radio stations and the media will support this initiative and the CD so that we can make this holiday season a warmer time for all".
Over the past several years D'Angelo has recorded and released several CD's and performed countless benefit concerts in support of The Breast Cancer Society of Canada and many other charities.
