Forterra Environmental Holding Annual and Special Meeting at its
Manufacturing Plant

PUSLINCH, ON, Oct. 22 /CNW/ - Forterra Environmental Corp. (TSXV: FTE), a manufacturer, marketer, and seller of premium organic soil-enrichment products based on worm castings, is holding its Annual and Special Meeting for shareholders for the 2008 year at 4:00 p.m. (Eastern) on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at its manufacturing plant and head offices that the company opened earlier this year.

"We thought that rather than holding the meeting in some room in a downtown Toronto location, this would be a great opportunity to be able to show our shareholders the progress that Forterra has made in establishing and growing our manufacturing operations at our new plant," said Rick Denyes , president and chief operating officer.

"After the business of the meeting is completed, we look forward to showing our shareholders around the plant and will present each of them a sample of our worm castings product that they can use to further the growth of their home plants or gardens," he said.

Forterra's head office and manufacturing plant are located at 2272 Highway 6 South, RR No. 3, Puslinch, Ontario.
