WINNIPEG, April 30, 2012 /CNW/ - "We are delighted to announce that Mr. Hilmi Sunay, the former CEO of Rivosem (Istanbul, Turkey) has been working for Intelligent Hospital Systems as of April 1st, 2012. His knowledge and experience in the Turkish market for automated compounding of TPN and cytotoxic preparations is unrivaled and will greatly assist Intelligent Hospital Systems in evaluating the Turkish market" says Dr. Niels Erik Hansen, CEO of Intelligent Hospital Systems.
Mr. Sunay has over 25 years of experience in pharmacy technology working for companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Becton Dickinson and Boehringer Ingelheim Delta Pharma. Most recently, his 12 years at Rivosem resulted in the establishment of 50 drug compounding centers within Turkey, many of which use automation to fill cytotoxic preparations.
In his recent visit to existing RIVA customers, Mr. Sunay stated, "I am impressed with how well the Intelligent Hospital System's RIVA automated compounding system works. RIVA customers have proven its ability to compound both syringes and bags quickly, accurately, and reliably in a completely aseptic manner. As well, their documented returns on investment, and the ability to utilize drug vials that are not on the shortage lists, are powerful financial drivers for the use of RIVA. Performance, accuracy, and profitability, all criteria that RIVA fulfills, are key measures for the Turkish Ministry of Health. It is clear that RIVA is well placed to be a significant player in the Turkish market."
