Former aerospace mom finds CanScribe's Medical Transcription Program a
perfect fit

LAKE COUNTRY, BC, Feb. 5 /CNW/ - Charlene Gallant of PEI had worked in the aerospace industry and was also a weekend fitness instructor until she was stricken by a disabling illness in 2004. Her self-discipline and motivation had meant long hours of overtime and pushing herself to extremes. Devastated that she was unable to continue in this career, she looked at Medical Transcription as an alternative after it was mentioned to her by her daughter. It seemed to hold the benefits that she was looking for; was enjoyable and had the option of self employment, with flexible work hours.

She says, "Being an independent contractor will allow me the flexibility to be able to operate a home-based business in my community...my only constraints are deciding what market I want to aim for - whether it will be medical office, hospitals, or private clinics."
