OTTAWA, Feb. 24, 2015 /CNW/ - After Health Minister Rona Ambrose had a private meeting with founder of Kids Right To Know, Rachel Parent, she was so impressed by her, that she facilitated the next step: a meeting between Rachel and selected officials from Health Canada.
Scheduled to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25th, Rachel will be asking important questions regarding the safety and labeling of genetically modified foods, and the democratic right of all Canadians to make informed choices about the food they eat.
As a follow up to the meeting, MP and Official Opposition Health Critic Murray Rankin will be holding a press conference with Rachel Parent to discuss her findings from Health Canada at the following date and time:
