New joint venture with Arena enhances FirePower's lending capacity and expands its investment range of up to C$20 million per loan.
TORONTO, Sept. 28, 2018 /CNW/ - FirePower Capital ("FirePower"), Canada's entrepreneurial investment bank and credit investor, is pleased to announce that it has established a Joint Venture ("JV") with Arena Investors, LP ("Arena") that will increase the availability and flexibility of its Gap DebtTM product to Canadian entrepreneurs. As a result of the partnership with Arena, FirePower is well positioned to provide debt investments across the capital structure (first lien, unitranche, second lien, mezzanine and venture loans) ranging in size from C$1 million to C$20 million. FirePower is focused on identifying and investing in companies with strong enterprise value and cash flow visibility, which are seeking capital for growth, acquisitions, or dividend recapitalizations.
