MONTREAL, Feb. 4, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Anik Armand of Desjardins Securities and An-Lap Vo-Dignard of Groupe VPP, affiliated with National Bank Financial, have been named Advisor Emeritus and Advisor Most Involved in his Community, respectively, in Finance et Investissement's competition Les conseillers à l'honneur !
A jury of industry personalities selected the winners, who received their awards at a gala honouring Quebec's Top 25 financial professionals held yesterday at the Saint James's Club in Montreal.
Anik Armand, Advisor Emeritus for 2014, won over the jury with a rigorous business plan focusing on customer service that enabled her to grow her assets under management from $60 million in 2007 to nearly $420 million today. She and her team closely follow a procedural and ethical model aimed at meeting the needs of the affluent families they serve. The finalist for the Advisor Emeritus award is René Gagnon of Desjardins Securities.
An-Lap Vo-Dignard was named Advisor Most Involved in his Community thanks to his regular, ongoing contribution to a number of organizations including Fondation Bruny Surin, the Quebec Society for Disabled Children, Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, and Fondation HEC Montréal. Dominic Paquette of Partenaire-Conseils Groupe Financier was the finalist in this category.
