Filing of Revised Annual Information Form of Sprott Power Corp.

TORONTO, April 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Sprott Power Corp. (TSX: SPZ) ("Sprott Power" or "the Company"), an owner, operator and developer of renewable energy projects, on April 2, 2013 filed on SEDAR a revised annual information form for the year ended December 31, 2012 (the "Revised AIF").

The Revised AIF included clarifications on pages 31 and 32 to the discussion of the Audit Committee.  In the section under the heading "Audit Committee - Composition of the Audit Committee", certain dates referred to therein were amended, the composition of the Special Committee was clarified and other clerical changes were made.  The reference in the section under the heading "Audit Committee - External Audit Service Fees" was amended from "Tax advisory fees" to refer to "Tax fees".

Other than as expressly set forth above, the Revised AIF does not, and does not purport to, update or restate the information in the Annual Information Form of the Company dated March 28, 2013 or reflect any events that have occurred after the original filing.
