Fiera Capital in-house general counsel wins top international award
MONTREAL, June 26, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Fiera Capital Corporation (TSX: FSZ) is proud to announce that Violaine Des Roches, Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs and Compliance, has been recognized as one of 2015's top in-house general counsels worldwide during the International General Counsel Awards held in New York, NY, on June 24 hosted by the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards.
Ms. Des Roches was given the 2015 Gold Award for the Best Canadian Legal Department category.

Ms. Des Roches is responsible for all legal and compliance aspects of Fiera Capital. A member of the Management Committee, she also acts as Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary. She has 30 years of experience in the investment management industry and has been with Fiera Capital since 2006. Ms. Des Roches has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Civil Law from the Faculty of Law at McGill University and was admitted to the Québec Bar in 1986.
The International General Counsel Awards is a yearly event that rewards the Best Legal, Intellectual Property and Tax Departments from around the globe. In its 5th edition, the event took place during the seated lunch of the 8th edition of the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards this past June 24, in New York, NY.
