Media personnel are exclusively invited to tour and sample the diversity of award winning wines and beers between 12:00pm and 1:00pm. Fermentations! is an innovative company, pushing the envelope at every opportunity. In the winemaking scene, Charles visits Montsant and Priorat in Spain as well as premiere growing regions of Chile, bringing back 40 tons of Merlot, Grenache Noir, Syrah, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan (all grapes whose wines boast hundreds of awards in North America). Favourably compared to wines costing $30 or more for a bottle at the LCBO, Fermentations! clients pay less than a quarter of that.
And when it comes to craft beer, Fermentations! was considered "craft" well before the craft beer fad began in Toronto. Starting with only a small selection of imported beers and craft breweries when it opened its doors in 1993, it wasn't long before Fermentations! knew that the traditional beer industry was in for a shock.
