TORONTO, Oct. 25, 2017 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada), the all-industry professional membership association for senior financial executives, today announced the appointment of Pete Pigott to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of FEI Canada effective November 13th, 2017.
Pete Pigott is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with over thirty years of senior financial leadership experience. Mr. Pigott brings extensive knowledge and practice as a business leader to FEI Canada, formerly serving as CFO for TSC Stores, Entertainment One and Sleep Country Canada. He also served as COO of West 49. Most recently, Pete held the position of Executive Director and CFO of GreenCentre Canada, a government-financed commercialization hub for academic cleantech discoveries (in close partnership with Queen's University and corporate donors).
