FarmLead.com is now putting the power of trading physical grain into users' hands anywhere, anytime.

SASKATOON, SK, Nov. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - FarmLead Resources Ltd., which owns FarmLead.com, North America's first user-based online physical cash grain marketplace, is proud to announce the release of FarmLead Mobile for all iOS and Android devices.

FarmLead Mobile, available for free download on the iTunes App Store and Google Play App Store, is a user-friendly app that that provides all the functionality of FarmLead.com, within a mobile setting. Grain producers, buyers, traders, and end-users are now able to participate in the real-time grain marketplace while on the go.

"About 4,000 tonnes of grain moved through the FarmLead Marketplace in the first 10 months it was operational. Since we launched FarmLead Mobile less than 2 months ago, already 2,500 tonnes of grain have transacted through the FarmLead Marketplace," said FarmLead president & founder, Brennan Turner. With FarmLead Mobile, new users can create a new account directly on the app. It is free to download the app, create a new account, post new offers to buy or sell grain, and negotiate on them. FarmLead makes it cost-effective to connect on deals as all connection fees are capped, depending on the grain type, and Connection Fee payments can be made directly in the app.

Other features of FarmLead Mobile include agribusiness calculators, the daily FarmLead Breakfast Brief agriculture market commentary, and the FarmLead My Watchlist function that allows users to set alerts to be notified when a specific type of deal is posted on the FarmLead Marketplace.
