Considering the various restrictions put in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it's understandable that pet owners have a lot of questions.
Dr. Caroline de Jaham is a veterinary dermatologist and CEO of the three Centres vétérinaires DMV hospitals. Caroline de Jaham, DVM, MSc, Diplomate ACVD
Dr. de Jaham was appointed General Director of Centres DMV in 2011 and CEO in 2016.
A 1992 graduate of the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. de Jaham completed her small-animal internship at the University of Washington before returning to the Université de Montréal for her residency and master's degree in clinical dermatology. She also obtained Diplomate status from the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. A former President of the Canadian Academy of Veterinary Dermatology from 2008 to 2012, Dr. de Jaham has also been an Associate Professor in the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine since 2009.
In addition to her veterinary experience, Dr. de Jaham is a graduate of the elite École d'Entrepreneurship program (2013–2015) and she is one of the founding members of the Passionimo network, established in 2014. Dr. de Jaham is also involved in animal welfare organizations—she was the President of the non-profit ANIMA-Québec from 2010 to 2019, has sat on the board of the AMVQ since 2013 and is a member of the Ordre des médecins vétérinaires du Québec's specialist committee.
